The house was flooded years ago and downstairs still smells damp. Can you help?
We can clean it and we can tell you what cleaning will not reach. Surface mould, the fridge, the bins and the drains all come off, and often that is the whole of it. If the smell is coming out of the floor or the lower plaster, it is trapped moisture and salt in the fabric, and the honest answer is that it needs drying and a plasterer rather than a cleaner. We will say which.
