Our house is barely a year old and the bathroom sealant is already mouldy. Is that bad cleaning?
No. A new house is built with a great deal of water in it, in its screed, plaster and blockwork, and most of that comes back out through the first heating season. Until it has gone, the air indoors carries more moisture than the same house will hold later, and the coldest room, usually the bathroom, is where it settles. Run the extractor longer, open the trickle vents, and expect the second winter to be nothing like the first.
