Our top floor was built for staff and is barely used. Can it be left out?
It can come out of the regular visit, but it should not come out of the plan. An unheated floor with dormer windows and nobody breathing in it still puts water on the glass every cold night, and that runs down onto painted timber cills. Air it and clean it properly every few visits, and have the cold external wall checked for mould while somebody is up there.
