There are small orange specks all over our white window frames. Is that something you can take off?
Yes, and it is not dirt. It is iron dust off the railway, and it rusts where it lands, which is why a general cleaner just moves it around. It lifts with a mild acidic treatment worked wet and rinsed off, never with a scouring pad, because an abrasive burnishes uPVC and the shine does not come back. On glass it clears completely. On a frame that has had years of it, expect a strong improvement rather than white.
